What is the current content of this job (what is done and how is it done)?

We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented and outgoing for this position.  Reporting to the Recreational Manager (RM), the RLAT's primary responsibility is to scan membership cards in and out to keep track of who is renting each piece of equipment.

What physical and mental tasks are performed by the worker?

Equipment rented out can weigh up to 15 pounds.  Each scan will allow you to fill out brief information on the equipment that is being rented, including number of equipment and condition.  When returned, the RLAT will look at the equipment for best judgement, and report post-usage information, similar to pre-usage information.  The information will be used to generate reports at the end of each day, and they will be used to help with determining rate of flow, average time that each piece of equipment is being used, etc.  These reports will be also used in Asset Management meetings, so excel knowledge is preferred, but not required.

When and where is the job to be accomplished?

The Rental Desk, located next to the front entrance of the courts area, will be open when the Center opens and remain open until 1 hour before closing each day.
